Credit consulting & education

Bring your credit file into focus.

Most people have never actually read their own credit report. We help you see what is on it, challenge what is inaccurate, and build the habits that move a score in the right direction.

What we do

Two ways to work with us.

Some people want the dispute work handled for them. Others want to learn the process and run it themselves. Both are legitimate — pick the one that fits your time and budget.

Done for you

Dispute services

We review your reports from all three bureaus, identify entries that appear inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable, and handle the dispute correspondence on your behalf.

  • Full tri-bureau report review
  • Written disputes to bureaus and furnishers
  • Tracking and follow-up through each response cycle
  • Plain-language updates at every stage

  • Rebuilding after collections, charge-offs or late payments
What this covers

The process

Four steps, no mystery.

Credit repair gets sold as something secretive. It isn't. Here is the entire process, start to finish.

01

Pull all three reports

Equifax, Experian and TransUnion each hold a separate file, and they often disagree. You are entitled to free copies — we show you exactly where to get them without paying for a subscription you don't need.

02

Find the errors

We go line by line: accounts that aren't yours, balances that are wrong, payments marked late that were not, duplicate collections, and entries that should have aged off by now.

03

Dispute what's wrong

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, information that is inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable can be challenged. Bureaus generally have 30 days to investigate and respond.

04

Build from there

Disputes only address what shouldn't be there. The rest is behaviour — payment timing, balance ratios, account age and mix. This is the part that compounds, and the part most people skip.

What can be disputed

Errors are more common than people expect.

A dispute challenges information that is inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable. Here is what that looks like in practice.

01

Accounts that aren't yours

Mixed files, similar names, or accounts opened in your name without your knowledge.

02

Wrong balances or status

A paid account still showing a balance, or a closed account reported as open.

03

Payments marked late in error

Payments made on time but reported 30, 60 or 90 days late by the furnisher.

04

Duplicate collections

The same debt appearing more than once, often after being sold between agencies.

05

Outdated entries

Most negative information has a reporting time limit. Past it, it should come off.

06

Unverifiable entries

If a furnisher cannot verify an entry during the investigation, it must be corrected or removed.

What a dispute cannot do

Accurate, current, verifiable negative information cannot be removed by anyone — not by us, and not by any company that tells you otherwise. If a late payment genuinely happened, it stays until it ages off. Any service promising to erase accurate history is describing something that isn't possible.

We also cannot promise a specific score increase or a specific outcome. Results depend on what is actually in your file.

Credit education

What actually moves a score.

Scoring is not a black box. Five factors carry the weight, and they are not weighted equally.

Payment history

The single largest factor in most scoring models. One missed payment can outweigh months of good behaviour.

Amounts owed

How much of your available credit you're using. The ratio matters more than the raw balance.

Length of history

Older accounts help. Closing your oldest card is often a mistake people make with good intentions.

New credit & mix

Several applications in a short window reads as risk. A varied mix of account types generally helps.

Common questions

Straight answers.

No, and neither can anyone else. Federal law specifically prohibits credit repair organizations from making guarantees about results. What we can do is review your file, dispute what appears inaccurate, and show you what to change. Outcomes depend on what is actually in your report.

Yes. Everything we do on the dispute side is something you have the legal right to do yourself at no cost. We say this openly because the law requires it and because it's true. People hire us for time, structure and follow-through — and our education track exists precisely for people who would rather learn to do it themselves.

Credit bureaus generally have 30 days to investigate a dispute, though that can extend in some circumstances. Most files need more than one cycle. Anyone quoting you a guaranteed timeline is guessing.

Start with a look at your actual file.

A free consultation, no obligation, and an honest read on whether we can help. If your report is clean and the issue is something else, we'll tell you that.
